About Me

I have been a full time tutor in Bromsgrove since 2003, during which time I have worked with more than 400 students! I obtained an honours degree in Physics in 1982 from the University of Leicester and I have 'A' levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.I worked in IT as a programmer, trainer and manager for 20 years, before becoming a tutor.

I have never lost my passion for maths and physics and regard it as part of my job to attempt to pass on my enthusiasm to my students. I always keep up to date with the latest advances in physics, mainly because I enjoy doing so, but also because inquisitive young minds have a habit of asking questions well beyond the boundaries of the syllabus

I am one of the only people I know who reads maths and physics books for pleasure.

I am married and have lived in Bromsgrove for over 20 years.

Though I am a full time tutor I do have other interests. Put my name into google and you may well find my table tennis results in the Bromsgrove and Redditch league. I am also a cyclist and a draughts/chess player.
